When will I receive the instructions for attending the virtual meeting?
You will receive an email with instructions on how to access the virtual meeting platform on 21st April. The email will be sent to the email you used to register for the virtual meeting.
Can I share my virtual meeting login information with others?
No. The login link created is unique to each registered person. For every delegate only one device (computer, laptop, tablet, phone) will be allowed to enter the virtual meeting.
What device can I use to access the virtual meeting platform?
The virtual meeting platform is accessible via any device that can connect to the internet via an internet browser; this could be your desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone. We recommend joining by using a desktop computer.
You need an active internet connection. The EAHP-SH 2021 Virtual Meeting requires that you are online and logged in to view content.
Can my computer, tablet or mobile device handle the virtual event?
Most up to date computers and mobile devices such as laptops, desktops, and handheld tablets are capable of running the virtual event for you. We suggest to use your computer or laptop.
What can I expect from the EAHP-SH 2021 Virtual Meeting?
The EAHP-SH 2021 Virtual Meeting is hosted entirely online. It will allow attendees to access an outstanding programme of the highest level given by leaders and experts in the field of haematopathology.
What do I need to do on the 1st virtual meeting day?
The platform will be accessible from 21st April. You will have enough time to get comfortable with the platform and discover the functions before the virtual meeting starts.
What if I miss a session?
Do I have access to all of the sessions?
Yes! You will have access to all the scientific sessions. Similar to if you were attending the congress in-person, you will have the opportunity to select which sessions you would like to attend virtually. Only the meet the professor sessions are only for those who have booked a ticket.
Can I ask questions during the sessions?
We encourage you to ask questions at any time using the chat function. Questions are submitted to the chairs and moderators of the session and will be reviewed and placed into the queue for the Q&A sessions at the end.
Will sessions be pre-recorded or live?
Most of the sessions are pre-recorded. The introduction will be live by the chairs and at the end will be a live Q&A.
What if I experience technical issues during the virtual meeting?
Within the virtual meeting platform, there is a “Technical Support” in the right hand corner that will connect you with a live person to troubleshoot any technical issues.
Can I earn any CME?
Yes, The Virtual Meeting of the European Association for Haematopathology and the Society for Hematopathology is accredited with 24 CME credit by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®):
- 25th April: 4 CME credits
- 26th April: 5 CME credits
- 27th April: 5 CME credits
- 28th April: 4 CME credits
- 29th April: 6 CME credits
To receive the CME credits you need to fill in a survey and you need to have attended all sessions on the respective day. This was tracked through your logins and your logouts. You will receive the CME certificate within 2 working days.
Will I receive a CME certificate?
Yes, you will receive a CME certificate 2 weeks after the virtual Meeting. The Virtual Meeting of the European Association for Haematopathology and the Society for Hematopathology is accredited with 24 CME credit by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®). You will receive the CME certificate.
